I was both charmed and captivated when I encountered the trailer of the upcoming Advanced Style documentary film by the amazing Ari Seth Cohen, covering the fashion philosophy of remarkable New York women, embodying self-expression, independence and artistic merit into fashion.
I always believed style is ageless, timeless. Among imagination, Fashion is equally inspired by the past, the present and the - hypothetical - future. Therefore, I hope the media will integrate more human eclecticism in fashion magazines.
In this age -- where the elderly are frequently forgotten -- wouldn't it be wonderful if the media would equivalently target an older audience, where your Grandmother would be inspired to dress to impress?
As a fashion photographer, I can't wait to photograph one of these lovely ladies for an editorial.
